Career paths

The eLeader Group is a group of IT companies that create their own products. We have plenty of specialists from various fields such as analysts, designers, programmers, project managers, scrum masters, QA specialists, implementation consultants, customer advisors, marketing and sales specialists, back-office department employees and DevOps.

What does that mean for our employees? If you get tired of your previous work, you have few options, you can change your project, move to a completely different department or smoothly change the company within the Group.

Most frequently asked questions and answers

  • What can I expect in the recruitment interview?

During the interview with an applicant for a technical post, we will talk with you about the art of programming and also verify your degree of understanding of technical documentation in English.

If you are applying for a marketing or sales position, you should expect a conversation in English (or another foreign language if you have a good command of it). Sometimes we also ask candidates to prepare some task either before coming to the interview or on the spot. We always try to provide the candidate with feedback after the interview.

  • Will my job involve going abroad?

It's up to you. Sales, marketing and project managerial positions all inherently involve some amount of business travel (including exotic destinations). However, if you do not wish to travel abroad, we will respect that and assign you to local national projects. As to developer positions, we always work in our office. Travel abroad to work on site with the client (e.g. at workshops or analyses) is quite rare.

  • Do contract employees receive paid overtime?

Because we strive to strike a balance between work and private life, we want to keep overtime as low as possible. Sometimes, however, when circumstances require, we have to give up some of our private time to finish work and catch up on overdue projects. In such cases overtime hours are paid based on the principles of the Labour Code, i.e. in the amount of one and a half or two times the employee's regular pay rate (applies to employment contracts). What if it's you who wants to work more? We appreciate your dedication and such work is also treated as overtime, which, unfortunately, is not a standard practice on the IT market.

  • Do you offer part-time employment?

Yes, we accept cooperation with persons wishing to work less than the standard time of a full-time contract. This applies mostly to students. We try, however, to make it no less than 0.6 FTE – only then does the work make sense and is productive for both parties.

  • What is the size of projects/project teams?

Teams differ in terms of headcount depending on the company and project, but usually consist of 5-12 persons.

  • Is it possible to change your technology while working for eLeader Group?

Certainly. Should you wish to develop in a new field, you will definitely have plenty of opportunity to do so. We have had a number of such cases: a shift from Android to the UX department, from testing to iOS programming, from manual to automated tests. When BlackBerry or Symbian (anyone still remembers them? :)) started losing market share, our programmers smoothly started coding in new technologies. There are also transfers from back-offices to technical departments, e.g. from accounts to SQL, as well as transfers between our companies.

  • What employee evaluation system do you use?

eLeader Group uses a 360 degrees evaluation system, which enables you to express your opinion on how you feel about your cooperation with all these people you meet at work every day (including your superiors). You can evaluate e.g. their commitment and how you think they fulfil their duties. At the same time, being subject to evaluation, you receive valuable feedback on how your work is perceived by your colleagues. During a quarterly evaluation meeting you will learn what kind of progress you have made at work and what areas still need to be improved.

  • Are you an outsourcing company?

No. You may have noticed (on LinkedIn or GoldenLine) that we do not have an extensive recruitment department. It is not our intention to employ as many staff as possible for third parties.

We put emphasis on something else: it is the PRODUCT that counts. We create a Polish technology which has been implemented by global leaders in over 80 countries around the world, a technology which receives rave reviews and garners world's most important awards. And all of this thanks to the best brains working for us.

This is how we beat global monopolists of software.
